Cancun, Mexico has been a vacationer’s paradise for many years and draws thousands of tourists a year. Many people return to Cancun year after year for their vacations. Cancun is rich in history. By the middle of the 16th century, the Spanish had arrived and the influences and architecture of those times are still felt by visitors there. The architecture is one of most medieval style, similar to styles used by in Spain in times of the crusades against pirates.

If clubbing is what you like to do, Cancun has it all. You can dance the night away at one of the many night clubs and discos. The hotels offer fabulous Mexican fiestas full of sound and color and light. The music here is something else and you’ll hear jazz, reggae and Spanish influenced music.
Dinner shows are really popular in the hotels and each night you can take a dinner cruise. You can get on a “party boat” or you can indulge is some romance with an exquisite gourmet meal.
If you are eating on the run or your budget is really tight, there are many fast food chains here. But there is also fine dining in seafood, Mexican and Asian specialties and American fare. Mexicans know service and you will be delighted with candlelight and white table cloths with lovely dinner settings.
For the shopper, you can’t beat Cancun for the variety of both Mexican and American stores and shops. Bargaining is still a custom in many places in Mexico.
