Monterrey and Mexico City to quaint places like San Luis Potosi and San Miguel.
Beach destinations
The Mexican Riviera is proud to offer Los Cabos, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Ixtapa, Acapulco and Huatulco. Each of these cities has a unique character.
Mexico Travel Tips
If you are watching your money, stay in the small colonial cities where budget travels make it on around $600 to $800 USD per month. Live like a local whenever possible.
If you are only visiting Mexico for a vacation and want to cover as much ground as possible, you will find that the bus system in Mexico is much better than anything in the United States. It is cheap, clean, and even offers first class busses complete with air conditioning, comfortable airline style seats, and movies to help pass the time.
Remember . . . Mexico is not an amusement park. Like any other country, you have to use common send and staying in well lit areas after dark where there are plenty of other people is just common sense.
